Participants at the seminar agreed that passion and responsibility are necessary elements for each soldier-journalist. Passion inspires journalists to brave all dangers to write articles in flash points to energetically inform readers about real activities of troops and people.
A high sense of responsibility best helps journalists overcome difficulties, acquire information and be creative in writing good articles in an expeditious manner.
Opinions raised at the seminar also focused on journalists’ acquiring knowledge, strenuous efforts to become "3 in 1 journalists" who can write good articles, take nice photos and film well, being careful in writing to avoid misinformation and disinformation and upholding a soldier-journalist’s code of ethics.
