The mission conducted the SAR in different locations in Cebrail commune, Antakya district, Hatay province.

In each location, the mission discussed and agreed on SAR plans with local rescue forces and used service dogs and engineering detection equipment to search for victims.

On the day, the mission searched and detected victims in two places in two collapsing buildings. Having discussed the situation, the mission handed over the scenes to the local rescue force to bring the victims out of the rubble. 

After concluding the working day, the mission returned to their base in Hatay stadium, ensuring absolute safety. 

As of February 18 (Vietnam time), SAR force of the Vietnam People’s Army detected 14 positions of victims of the earthquake, including two locations with signs of life.
