Preparation for Party congresses at all levels in the military reviewed
PANO – Over the past time, the Central Military Commission (CMC) has promoted the popularization of the contents of the Politburo’s directive and General Party Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong’s article on the preparation for Party congresses at all levels across the military in preparation for the 13th National Party Congress.
The results were highlighted at the joint conference on July 11 between the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission and the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Organization on the preparation for Party congresses of the 2020-2025 tenure at all levels in the military.
The conference emphasized that the CMC has instructed military units’ 2015-2020 term Party Committees to carefully make the list of candidates for the Party committees of the 2020-25 term, and creatively and effectively organize the Party congresses at all levels which are scheduled to take place from the first months of 2020 to October.
The CMC also asked Party Committees in the military to promote democracy among Party organizations while strictly observing Party principles and disciplines, which must be perceived as an important mission from now to 2020.
It also assigned its subordinates to assist the Party committees of several defense agencies and military units to hold their Party congresses as models to draw lessons and raise the quality of Party congresses of other defense agencies and military units.
At the conference, delegates also agreed on some measures to effectively introduce the Politburo’s directive into the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission’s leadership over the organization of Party congresses of all defense agencies and military units.
