Outstanding drawings on gender equality, family violence, and gender-based violence showcased
PANO - The Ministry of National Defense (MND)'s Board for Women's Advancement held a ceremony to review and award outstanding participants of a drawing contest on gender equality, family violence, and gender-based violence on May 4 at the Vietnam Museum of Military History.
Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh attended the event.

Held by the MND’s Board for Women's Advancement, the contest received 4,000 drawings from more than 3,000 participants inside and outside the military. The organizing panel evaluated that through works, participants spread short, but meaningful messages about gender equality, family violence, and gender-based violence.
At the event, Gen. Minh and delegates cut a ribbon to open an exhibition to showcase 71 outstanding works of the contest; handed over certificates of merit of the MND’s Board for Women's Advancement to collectives and individuals with excellent achievements in participating in and organizing the event; and awarded two special, four first, six second, eight third, ten consolation prizes to participants.
