At the conference, delegates affirmed that in 2023, the women advancement and gender equality work in the military was comprehensively carried out and obtained practical results. Notably, the building and development of female officials were paid due attention to by party committees, political commissars, commanding officers, and political agencies at all levels.
Women in the military continued to prove their important roles. They fulfilled targets in various fields, especially in production, education and training as well as U.N. peacekeeping operations, contributing to making positive changes in the women advancement and gender equality work in the military.

Concluding the meeting, Gen. Vinh asked the board and chains-of-command of military units to continue to grasp and effectively implement policies and laws on gender equality. They should bring contents of the women advancement and gender equality work into their resolutions and mission plans.
At the same time, they should map out and conduct the work with implementation of their assigned tasks; and promptly applaud female personnel who try their most in task performance and achieve prizes in competitions at all levels.
