MR4: Tasks assigned to forces participating international SAR exercise
PANO - On August 8, Military Region 4 (MR4) organized an inspection of training results and assigned tasks to the forces participating in the joint search and rescue (SAR) exercise among the militaries of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
Senior Colonel Pham Van Dung, Deputy Chief of Staff and Standing Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the exercise of MR4, chaired the inspection and task assignment meeting.

The joint SAR exercise among the militaries of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia is scheduled to take place in Laos in the coming time. To ensure thorough preparation for the exercise, Military Region 4 has focused on disseminating directives, selecting and forming a contingent of suitable personnel to gather at Engineering Brigade 414 for training in accordance with the approved plan. The military region has also fully prepared equipment, vehicles, supplies, and logistics support for the participating forces.

To achieve the highest results during the exercise while ensuring absolute safety, Senior Colonel Pham Van Dung requested all participating forces to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, clearly define their tasks, and strictly adhere to the motto: “Strict Discipline, Good Conduct, High Responsibility, Regulation Observance.”
