Numerous activities held to mark VPA’s founding anniversary
PANO – Military units held numerous activities on December 21 to mark the 77th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) (December 22, 1944 – 2021) and the 32nd anniversary of the Whole People's Defense Festive Day (December 22, 1989 – 2021).
* The Long An provincial Party Committee held a ceremony on December 21 to hand over the Fatherland Protection Order to outstanding groups and individuals and meet with retired senior officers in the locality.
Accordingly, the province’s leadership handed over the second-class Fatherland Protection Order to Team K73 and the third-class Fatherland Protection Order to nine officers of the provincial armed forces in recognition of their achievements in task performance.

* The same day, a delegation of the Quang Ninh provincial Military Command visited and offered gifts to several policy beneficiaries in the cities of Ha Long and Cam Pha, and the districts of Quang Yen and Dong Trieu.

The delegation expressed gratitude to wounded soldiers, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and martyrs’ families. On the occasion, the provincial military command handed over gifts, worth VND 800,000 each, to each policy beneficiary.
* The Ea H’leo Border Station of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command in association with the Ea Sup district authorities and Tam Nguyen Viet Fund inaugurated a military-civilian clinic in Dung hamlet, Ia Lop commune, Ea Sup district.
The construction was worth VND 600 million in total and sponsored by the provincial military command and other groups. On the occasion, the doctors of the clinic provided free health checkups and treatment for over 50 locals while groups and individuals giving gifts to the clinic and presents to needy women in the locality.
