A scene in the documentary "Border Victory in Fall-Winter 1950"

The event is organized under a recent decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

According to the decision, the film week will be jointly held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; the Vietnam National Documentary and Scientific Film Studio; the People's Army Cinema; the Vietnam Animation Joint Stock Company; Departments of Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism; Film Distribution Centers; provincial and municipal cultural centers. 

During the event, the audiences will have an opportunity to watch documentaries about the Vietnam People’s Army. Two selected documentaries are “Hanh trinh ve phia binh minh” (Journey to the Sunrise) by the Vietnam National Documentary and Scientific Film Studio and “Chien thang Bien Gioi Thu Dong - 1950” (Border Victory in Fall-Winter 1950) by the People's Army Cinema.

The film week will also introduce an animated film, titled “Truyen nhan nho tuoi” (A young successor) by the Vietnam Animation Joint Stock Company.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism’s decision, the film week will take place in localities where the COVID-19 pandemic is under control and pandemic prevention and control regulations by the Health Ministry must be strictly observed. 

If the event does not take place as scheduled, all films will be screened at next events.
