PANO – The Navy in collaboration with forces conducted a one-side, two-level exercise for its commanding officers from October 2-5.

The exercise, which was conducted mainly on the map but partly in the field with the participation of real forces, was attended by a number of leaders from the Defense Ministry, General Staff and General Department of Politics, such as Deputy Defense Minister and Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang; Deputy Chiefs of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Nguyen Phuong Nam and Lieutenant General Pham Hong Huong; and Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, Lieutenant General Do Can.
The steering board of the exercise highly valued the preparation and organization of the exercise. During the exercise, the Party Committee and Command of the Naval Service gave good instructions to the organizers so that they conducted the exercise as planned, meeting the set requirements and targets and ensuring absolute safety.
According to the organizing board, the exercise in part improved the leadership for naval officers as well as the capacity of coordination between naval forces and other participating forces.
At the closing ceremony, leaders of the Defense Ministry presented awards and certificates of merit to units and individuals who performed well and obtained outstanding results during the exercise.
