In accordance with plans issued by the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff regarding support and security for the 14th National Party Congress, over the past period, agencies and units across the military have pro-actively and actively carried out comprehensive preparations. These efforts included the formulation of close and practical combat readiness plans, and the synchronized implementation of measures to ensure absolute safety and security for the Congress.

Concluding the conference, General Nguyen Tan Cuong required all agencies and units throughout the military to continue strengthening education and dissemination so that officers and soldiers clearly understand the significance and importance of the 14th National Party Congress, as well as the plots and sabotage activities of hostile forces. He stressed the need to raise vigilance, strengthen determination, and remain ready to receive and successfully accomplish all assigned tasks.
He directed units to pro-actively grasp situations, conduct accurate assessments and forecasts of potential developments, particularly in maritime and island areas, border regions, strategic locations, and cyberspace. Military units were instructed to closely coordinate with relevant agencies, resolutely prevent and defeat all plots and activities of hostile forces, and handle situations promptly and effectively.
General Nguyen Tan Cuong also emphasized maintaining strict patrol and guard missions; ensuring the safety of military barracks, depots, airfields, and ports; and exercising strict control over personnel strength, weapons, and technical equipment.

At the same time, Party committees and commanding officers at all levels were tasked with reviewing and refining operational plans and contingencies; fully preparing forces, equipment and support measures; and ensuring that communication and information systems remain synchronized, smooth and ready for all missions.
He concluded by urging all agencies and units to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, initiative and determination to fulfill all preparatory tasks in line with their assigned functions and duties, thereby ensuring thorough service and absolute security in all aspects, contributing to the successful organization of the 14th National Party Congress.
