Head of the Naval Region 4 Training Center, Colonel Vu Van Hien, said that from the beginning of the year, the center’s Party Committee and Chain of Command have strictly followed higher-level training directives, clearly identifying the “Three-Explosions” test as not only a mandatory requirement but also an opportunity to build recruits’ willpower, bravery, and basic combat reflexes. The center has simultaneously applied solutions to enhance training quality and has used the test results as a benchmark for evaluating the command and training capabilities of officers at all levels.

Training battalions have proactively built training plans based on the motto: “Fundamental, practical, and solid; tailored to the trainees and close to combat reality; ensuring absolute safety.” Understanding the importance of the test, the center has focused on segmented techno-tactical training, combining technical and tactical instruction with physical and psychological preparation to help recruits master weapons and equipment, perfect their movements, and confidently handle real-life scenarios.

Instructors have focused on equipping recruits with key techniques and skills in using rifles and grenades, and on the proper steps of explosive charging, while ensuring absolute safety during training. In parallel, the center has also prioritized upgrading and constructing new training grounds to facilitate both training activities and the final test.
In addition, units have strictly maintained training routines, encouraged the troops in a timely manner, regularly organized platoon- and company-level competitions, and commended individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements—thus creating a lively and competitive atmosphere that motivates recruits to achieve the highest results in the “Three-Explosions” test.
