Naval brigade disseminates information about national sea and islands

At the event, the brigade’s Deputy Political Commissar Naval Captain Nguyen Xuan Lai informed delegates about the national sea and islands situation in recent years; the Party and State’s viewpoints and policies in protecting the national sovereignty over sea and islands in the current context, and the outcomes of the task of building a “revolutionary, regular, elite and modern” naval force in the cause of protecting national sovereignty over sea and islands.

Earlier, a delegation of the brigade also disseminated information about national sea and islands to more than 200 officials in Ke Sach district, Soc Trang province, and to more than 800 high school students Soc Trang and Bac Lieu provinces, so as to attract human resources.

On the occasion, the participants were briefed on the importance of national sea and islands as well as situations of sea and islands; viewpoints of the Party and State in protecting the national sovereignty over sea and islands. The brigade also provided information about the Naval Academy and regulations to become a naval soldier, among others.

An artistic performance at the event

The program contributed to deepening the coordination between the local authorities and the naval unit and naval troops on duty at sea and on islands of the nation.
