The program aimed to ease the severe shortage of blood for patient treatment at hospitals.
As reported, organizers received more than 500 units of blood donated by around 500 cadres, instructors, cadets, employees and soldiers of the academy. During the event, COVID-19 prevention and control measures, including 5K regulations, were strictly observed by participants.
Blood donation is a significant deed demonstrating sentiment and responsibility of the academy’s cadres, instructors, cadets, employees and soldiers. It not only contributes to saving patients’ lives, but also educates troops about the "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" tradition, thus encouraging them to be more responsible for themselves, their families and community.
