Military school organizes voluntary blood donation program
PANO – In response to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, Military Region 9’s Military School on August 14 and 15, in coordination with Can Tho Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital, launched a blood donation program in 2021.
With the message “A donated drop of blood saves a life,” nearly 2,000 troops and cadets of the school wholeheartedly joined the program, contributing to combating the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before donating blood, all participants had their health checked up carefully while strictly observing COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.
As a result, the program has collected 2,061 blood units – the largest amount ever donated by the school so far.
