Major Ngo Tat Thanh, an officer from the Army Officer Candidate School No.1, held that due to limited training, the female militia’s training program started with careful assessment and a focus on mastering basic movements such as standing at attention, marching, and turning.

Female militia member Le Mai Ngoc Anh, District 10’s Military Command, Ho Chi Minh City Command shared that some movements seemed simple at first, but performing them precisely and uniformly proved challenging. Thanks to detailed guidance from instructors, they are becoming more confident and making progress day by day.

At the training ground for the Saigon Special Task Force female unit, under the harsh weather conditions, Major Vo Le Chi Tuyen from the Army Officer Candidate School No.2 instructed the troops on precise footwork, posture, and movements. To boost endurance, troops run 3,000 meters every day with attention to straight lines, facial expressions, and overall uniformity.

To prepare for the parade, the Military Region 7 Command carefully selected qualified officers and soldiers, considering this as a key task for 2025. The unit set up organizing and logistics committees, coordinating with units and local authorities to ensure thorough training, readiness, and security while regularly inspecting the troops’ performance and taking care of their lives.

According to Colonel Nguyen Van Hau, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, instructors focus on posture and discipline while also teaching traditional songs for troops to sing as they march through city streets.

One of the biggest challenges in parade training is coping with the harsh weather, as the Southern region of Vietnam enters the peak of the dry, scorching season. The Military Region 7 Command has provided good healthcare and nutritious meals for participating forces. Meanwhile, the troops have overcome difficulties to fulfill their tasks, contributing to promoting the beautiful image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers.
