He urged the province to thoroughly implement the Party’s guidelines, State policies, and Central Military Commission (CMC) and Defense Ministry’s directives on safeguarding the Fatherland; remain vigilant, counter hostile “peaceful evolution” schemes; effectively realize higher-level resolutions and conclusions on Party and political system building and rectification. The province was also asked to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and style; implement regulations on setting examples among key cadres; and develop capable leadership cadres at all levels.
Gen. Giang suggested the province focus on developing key economic sectors, advancing agriculture, upgrading transport infrastructure, expanding border economic zones, and improving the livelihoods of ethnic and religious communities, especially those in remote areas.

He stressed that in any circumstance, it is vital to hold firm to the people and the land, firmly protect national border sovereignty, and build strong whole people’s national defense and people’s security postures.
He also addressed local proposals related to defense, military, investment mechanisms, and equipment for the armed forces.
At the end of the session, he witnessed the handover of a strategic cooperation agreement for the 2026-2030 period between the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) and the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, and presented a VND 30-billion support from the CMC and Defense Ministry for the construction of bridges in the province.

He directed the division to review and update working plans for 2025; maintain close coordination with local authorities and relevant forces to grasp and handle all situations effectively, ensuring political and social stability; strictly observe combat readiness regulations, update operational plans, ensure warehouse and ammunition safety, maintain vehicles and artillery in good condition, and stay ready for flood and storm response, search and rescue operations, and forest fire control.
He also urged continued training and inspections, ensuring absolute safety of personnel and equipment; enhance logistics support, and troops’ material and spiritual life. The unit should keep building a politically-, ideologically-, and organizationally- strong Party Committee; promote mass mobilization and assist people in socio-economic development and disaster recovery.
The defense minister believed that Division 5’s officers and soldiers would unite, strive for excellence, and successfully accomplish all assigned missions.
