Chairman of the district People’s Committee Tran Ngoc Nguyen briefed the delegation on its results in developing socio-economy over the past year. Notably, armed forces stationing in the district have well maintained the watch and combat readiness, and strengthened the whole-people defence posture.
Senior Colonel Pham Van Quang, Deputy Commissar of the Naval Region 3 and Head of the mission, wished them a happy Tet holiday and underlined that the district should develop socio-economy in combination with consolidating the national defence and security.
They offered incense to the martyrs at the monument dedicated to them and visited Heroic Vietnamese Mother Tran Thi Pham and some units stationing in the island district.
