Maj. Gen. Nguyen Van Gau presents flowers to the GDP's Military Women Advisory Board.

At the meeting, General Gau hailed and acknowledged the military women’s achievements over the past time, while asking them to continue to make recommendations to the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense on women work and movements in the military.

He also expressed his hope that, the unit would overcome difficulties and promote responsibility to promptly accomplish all assigned missions.

* On the same day, military women of the GDP’s 14 affiliated units held an art exchange.

During the event, delegates recalled the traditions of the Vietnam Women’s Union and military women, affirming that, over the past years, the women of the units have developed in terms of quantity and quality. They have all overcome difficulties to raise their competence so as to well fulfill all assigned tasks.

Speaking at the event, on behalf of leaders of the 14 units, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Oanh, Deputy Director of the GDP's Political Department and deputy head of the organizing board, sent greetings to the military women, affirming that over the past years, military women in general and female soldiers of the 14 GDP’s affiliated units have preserved and upheld the heroic traditions, supported each other to accomplished all assigned missions with good results.

He hoped that in the coming time, they would further promote solidarity while performing tasks to obtain remarkable achievements.
