Military Women Advisory Board assists needy border women
PANO - The Military Women Advisory Board held numerous activities on April 27 as part of the “Military women accompany border women” program in the 2021-2025 period in My Hung commune, Quang Hoa district, Cao Bang province.
Accordingly, the Military Women Advisory Board collaborated with the Military Youth Advisory Board, the Department of Political Affairs under Military Region 1, the Commando Corps, and more, to hand over two gratitude houses, worth VND 40 million each, to two needy families of the local women union’s members.

The units also gave 127 gifts, worth VND 127 million in total, to members of the local women union organization, and needy students in My Hung commune, while presenting livelihood supporting packages and educational equipment to the local authorities.
Addressing the event, Senior Colonel Phung Thi Phu, Head of the Military Women Advisory Board, hoped that the supports will help the local people and women union members develop economy, escape from poverty and improve living conditions.
The “Military women accompany border women” program has been implemented widely by women union organizations in the whole-military with various activities such as healthcare programs, gratitude house repairing and building, and so on, she added.
