MND's leader visits Military Hospital 175
PANO - A delegation of the Ministry of National Defense (MND), led by Senior Lieutenant General Tran Don, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Defense Minister, on October 15 visited and inspected Military Hospital 175.
At the meeting, the MND’s delegation checked the progress of the projects and the hospital's performance of the Party and political work over the past time. Accordingly, the hospital's leadership, relevant agencies, and project managers briefed the progresses of such projects as Trauma and Orthopedics Hospital, General Hospital 175, the deployment of the Level-two Field Hospital No.1 to South Sudan, as well as research and training activities.
In addition, the project's management board and representatives of construction contractors of the Trauma and Orthopedics Hospital also informed the delegation of the difficulties in implementing the project and proposed suggestions to expedite the construction in the coming time.
Speaking at the event, Gen. Don praised great efforts made by the leadership, medical personnel and staff of Military Hospital 175 in implementing its Party and political work while simultaneously performing other tasks. The Deputy Minister also asked relevant agencies to speed up the progress of the projects, especially the Trauma and Orthopedics Hospital. Besides, investors, project management board and contractors should work together to implement their commitments to the project's progress by mobilizing more human resources and vehicles for the project, he noted.
Gen. Don also requested Military Hospital 175 to develop plans of financial autonomy, manpower, services, and equipment to submit to the MND; as well as actively propose solutions to soon fulfilling the goal of building a special military hospital in the South by 2020.
