Military Music Song and Dance Theater receives first-class Fatherland Protection Order
PANO - The Military Music Song and Dance Theater held a ceremony on July 8 in Hanoi to receive the first-class Fatherland Protection Order and review its task performance in the first six months of this year.
The event saw the presence of Deputy Chief of the General Department of Politics (GDP) Senior Lieutenant General Do Can and representatives of other agencies and units.
At the event, General Can handed over the first-class Fatherland Protection Order to the theater.
In the first half of this year, the theater completed all missions assigned by the Vietnamese People’s Army and the GDP. Artists of the theater have incessantly practiced and dedicated high-quality art performances to people and the military, as well as participated in external activities of the Party, the State, and the Defense Ministry.
Amid the complicated developments of COVID-19, the artists have worked with the Military Broadcasting Center, Vietnam Television, and the Voice of Vietnam to produce more art programs for the military and people, while further preparing for the Army Games 2021.
In the remaining time of this year, the theater should foster innovation, enhance the quality and scale of art programs, improve the professional qualifications of the artists to meet the requirements of missions, maintain the unit’s discipline and regulations, as well as enhance emulation movements.
