In 2017, the general department’s affiliated units effectively ensured safety and hygiene of food, and actively improved the quality of daily meals for troops, whereby over 99 percent of soldiers enjoy very good or good health for tasks’ requirements.

This year, the General Department of Logistics asked its units to proactively roll out detailed plans, particularly in boosting production promotion, maintaining food safety and environmental sanitation, and replicating outstanding models in performing logistics missions among units in the whole army.
