PANO – From May 9th to 15th, a mission of the General Department of Logistics of the Vietnam People's Army, led by Lt. Gen. Le Van Hoang, Political Commissar of the General Department, inspected the logistics work of the Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kom Tum provincial Military Commands and Border Guard Commands, and of Military Zone 5’s Logistics Department.

At the meetings, the delegation was briefed on the commands’ task performance. The units always ensure logistics for combat readiness and training missions.

In addition, the units also joined hands with locals to overcome difficulties in localities where the units are stationed.

Speaking at the meetings, General Hoang praised their past efforts in overcoming difficulties, as well as in improving combat readiness and training quality. The units were asked to improve logistics work in defensive areas, and to ensure social order along the shared border with neighboring countries.
