Based on the reports submitted by agencies and units, the Office of the Ministry of National Defense has drafted a preliminary report summarizing the implementation of military-defense missions in the first half of 2025. The draft report has been circulated for feedback from relevant bodies, and preparations for the upcoming conference are also being made accordingly.
After listening to the opinions of leaders from the General Department of Political Affairs, the General Staff, and other agencies, General Nguyen Tan Cuong commended the Office of the Ministry of National Defense for its close coordination in preparing the conference documents. He noted that both the written and video reports have been produced with high quality in terms of content and presentation.
General Nguyen Tan Cuong requested all relevant agencies to carefully incorporate all feedback from the meeting into the draft documents, ensuring completeness and consistency before reporting to the Standing Board of the Central Military Commission. He emphasized that the video report should include more highlights of military activities such as training, exercises, and combat readiness. In particular, it should showcase the military’s participation in the parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day, as well as the training activities of units preparing for the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2).
He also stressed that the upcoming Whole-military Politico-Military Conference in the first half of 2025 is of great significance; therefore, all agencies and units must coordinate closely and make the best preparations in all aspects to ensure the success of the conference.
