Over the past five years, the Defense Ministry has paid attention to bettering the defense institutions and military regulations. Particularly, many draft laws and documents to instruct the execution of these laws were issued, making contribution to improving the efficiency of the State management of military and defense affairs in the army.
Meanwhile, military units at all levels have seriously carried out the education and dissemination of laws in combination with the implementation of the “Determined to Win” emulation movement and other campaigns launched by the Party, State, and Army.
Military press agencies actively opened programs and specialized columns to further popularize laws to soldiers and people.
All defense agencies and military units underscored the importance of law enforcement, judicial and administrative reforms, regularity building and discipline observance while improving troops’ awareness of respect for laws, and military disciplines and regulations.
Delivering his remarks, General Chiem spoke highly of the whole army’s achievements in law education and dissemination over the past time. He stressed that they should be aware of the significance of the Vietnam Law Day, strictly observe laws and military disciplines, and boost law education and dissemination in various forms.
During the event, along with special artistic performances, audiences also enjoyed video documentaries featuring activities in response to the Vietnam Law Day across the army in the past five years, and military units’ efforts to promote legal education and dissemination, as well as listened to stories on law enforcement at sea.
