He also requested the General Departments of Logistics and Technical Services to ensure an adequate supply of uniforms, equipment, and weapons for the parade formations, as well as to perform well in weapon and equipment maintenance, and be prepared to handle any situations that may arise. Senior Lieutenant General Cuong also requested the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People's Army to enhance educational activities to raise awareness and responsibility among the troops, supplementing appropriate briefing content aligned with the tasks and traditions of each unit.
He proposed that Military Regions 2 and 3, the Hanoi Capital Military Command, and Brigade 144 under the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army direct subordinate units to closely coordinate with the traffic police in managing traffic in densely populated areas, mountain passes, and slopes during the parade formations’ movement to Dien Bien. Units are required to maintain communication, provide healthcare for the troops, ensure hygiene and food safety, promptly report, and address any arising issues.
