General Department of Politics extends Tet greetings to military units
PANO – A delegation, led by Major General Le Hien Van, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, visited the Command of Army Corps 3 on January 22.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the unit’s implementation of the Party and political work last year, the social order and safety situation in the area where the unit is stationed; and its plan to consolidate the combat readiness posture and organize Tet activities.

Having hailed their achievements in implementing assigned tasks, General Van asked the unit to continue enhancing training and combat readiness, especially during the Tet holiday to ensure a happy and safe Tet festival for their troops and handle any situations on time.
He underscored that the unit should care for local policy beneficiaries and needy households in both material and spiritual terms; coordinate with the local authorities and Party committees to ensure social order and safety for a happy Tet holiday.
The same day, General Van also visited and extended Tet greetings to Coffee Limited Liability Company No.15 and Infantry Regiment 95 (Infantry Division 95, Military Region 5) stationed in Dak Lak province.
Having been briefed on the units’ task performances last year and their preparations for the Lunar New Year 2017, General Van lauded the units for their achievements. Last year, they were recognized as comprehensively strong units and won the emulation flags of the Ministry of National Defense.
General Van, during the meeting, asked Coffee Limited Liability Company No.15 to strictly follow instructions on the combination between economic development and national security and defense; closely coordinate with the local authorities and Party committees to well implement mass mobilization tasks, contributing to improving local people’s living standards and building new-style rural areas.
He also asked Infantry Regiment 95 to raise the quality of training and combat readiness to fulfill all assigned missions. In addition, the unit should coordinate with the locality to ensure a happy and safe Tet festival for the local people.
General Van extended Tet greetings and presented Tet gifts of the Central Military Commission and the General Department of Politics to the units.
