Lieutenant General Do Can, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army visits a military unit under Military Region 9.
These units were the An Giang provincial Military Command, An Giang Border Guard Command, Tank-Armored Brigade 416, and Infantry Division 330.

At the meetings, the delegation was briefed on these units’ task performance last year and their missions this year, as well as their plans to maintain combat readiness and hold entertainment activities for soldiers during the Tet festival.

Hailing their achievements in implementing assigned tasks, General Can asked these units to continuously maintain combat readiness posture, ensure a happy and safe Tet festival for their troops, and be ready to roll out and complete all missions after the holiday.

* The same day, Major General Le Hien Van, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, led a delegation to extend Tet greetings to Corps 15, Division 2, Artillery Brigade 368, and Engineer Brigade 280 of Military Region 5.

The general asked these units to thoroughly grasp and successfully carry out all instructions and directives of the Party, State, and Ministry of National Defense, while ensuring a safe and happy Tet holiday and firmly maintaining political security, safety and social order for local residents to enjoy a joyous and cozy Tet holiday.
