Over the past eight decades, the forces have constantly grown up, promoted the patriotic and revolutionary traditions of a heroic land, stood absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, and made positive contribution to the national salvation, Fatherland building and defense cause and the development of the province.

On behalf of the CMC, Gen. Cuong congratulated and praised generations of the provincial armed forces for their feats-of-arms and achievements in the past 80 years. He urged them to continue embracing higher levels’ directives and resolutions on defense and military tasks, better their staff role, closely combine socio-economic development and defense and security consolidation. In addition, they should provide more defense and security knowledge for local cadres, Party members and people.

The Bac Giang provincial armed forces were also requested to develop into a revolutionary, standardized, elite, modernized force with high combat strength and synergy. To this end, they should practice more with close attachment to reality, build a strong contingent of reservists and self-defense and militia forces.

Gen. Cuong also asked the forces to stay close to local people, improve leadership capability and combat strength of Party organizations, and engagement in building new-style rural areas and eliminating substandard houses in the province.
