In addition, the mission highly appreciated their close coordination with central and local press agencies, information and education commissions, and women’s associations in dissemination of sea and islands-related information and naval units’ activities in support of fishermen.

Significantly, since the beginning of this year, the Naval Region 5 Command has effectively carried out the “Vietnamese Navy fosters fishermen’s children” model, leaving good impression on local people.

Concluding the inspection, Senior Lieutenant General Do Can asked the units to heighten combat readiness spirit, and pay more attention to raising troops’ material and spiritual life and the quality of political education work.
