GDP’s mission visits wounded and sick soldiers
PANO – A mission from the General Department of Politics (GDP), led by its Deputy Director - Lieutenant General Do Can, visited and presented gifts to the Nho Quan Convalescent Center in Ninh Binh province on July 20, as part of activities to mark the Day for Wounded and Fallen Soldiers (July 27).
The head delegate inquired after the wounded and sick soldiers and was briefed on the center’s work of providing healthcare for beneficiaries over the part time. At present, the center is providing healthcare for 155 wounded and sick soldiers.

Talking with the soldiers, General Can hoped they would continue upholding the virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and encouraged them to overcome adversities to set bright examples for younger generations to follow. He asked the center to heighten responsibility to take better care of wounded and sick soldiers.
On the occasion, the GDP’s deputy director presented an electroencephalogram machine and four patient beds to the center and 83 jackets to the wounded and sick soldiers.
The delegation then offered incense at the commemorative house for national contributors at the center.
