Speaking at the center, General Nghia expressed his deep emotion at visiting and meeting with teachers and students of the unit, underlining that the center not only fulfills its mission of education and training, but also stands as a place that profoundly reflects compassion and humanitarian values for students with special circumstances.

He acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the center’s staff and teachers over the past more than 30 years in accompanying and helping thousands of students overcome difficulties and feelings of inferiority to integrate into the community and grow in life. He also praised the center’s effective models and approaches, as well as the responsibility and dedication shown by teachers toward students with disabilities. At the same time, he recognized the attention paid by ministries, sectors, and Thai Nguyen province to inclusive education, noting that the center’s facilities and learning environment have become increasingly modern and well-equipped, clearly demonstrating care for children with disabilities.

The GDP chief called on authorities at all levels and sectors to continue paying greater attention to inclusive education and the care for disadvantaged and vulnerable children, creating conditions for them to study, live in a safe and happy environment, and have opportunities to integrate into society.

He affirmed that the military would continue to stand side by side with the political system in caring for people’s well-being, especially ethnic minorities in remote, border, island, and disadvantaged areas, as well as vulnerable groups in society, including students with disabilities.

On this occasion, General Nghia and the delegation presented gifts to the staff, teachers, and students of the center.

* On the same day, General Nguyen Trong Nghia and the delegation offered incense and flowers at the national historical site of Youth Volunteer Company 915 in Gia Sang ward, Thai Nguyen province to pay tribute to 60 fallen youth volunteers of Company 915, who sacrificed their lives on the night of December 24, 1972 while carrying out the mission of clearing military cargo and supporting the southern battlefield.

The delegation observed a moment of silence to express profound respect and gratitude to the outstanding young people who devoted their youth to the cause of national independence, freedom, and the happiness of people.

Writing in the memorial guestbook, General Nghia affirmed that the delegation pledged to be absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the Party, the State, and people; continue promoting the tradition of patriotism, the spiritual and cultural identity of Vietnam, the spirit of self-reliance, resilience, confidence, independence, and the strength of great national unity; and remain determined to build a strong and modern whole-people national defense, as well as a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Vietnam People’s Army.
