Especially, as the lunar New Year is nearing, the troops should raise their responsibility in performing tasks and carrying out COVID-19 prevention and control work with absolute safety.

Earlier, on February 3, at the Economic-Defense Unit 337, General Nghia shared his sympathy with the great losses and sacrifices of the unit in implementing search and rescue missions and encouraged them to do their utmost to fulfill assigned tasks in the current context.

During his visit to the Quang Tri provincial Border Guard Command, General Nghia hailed their remarkable efforts, deserving to be the pioneering force in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic and asked them to continue fulfilling their dual task: national border security protection and COVID-19 prevention and control.

On the occasion of the lunar New Year, General Nghia presented gifts from CMC, MND and GDP to the units and wished them good health as they fulfill their tasks in 2021.

The same day, the delegation also offered incense in commemoration to fallen soldiers at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery.
