Briefed on the units’ task performance, General Nghia hailed the efforts of the units in overcoming difficulties to fulfill all assigned missions with good results. He also requested the party organizations of the theaters to embrace the Party’s viewpoints and the Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense and the GDP’s directions related to culture and art. In addition, they should raise the quality of artistic programs and renovate performances so as to meet the demands of the audience.

The Deputy Director also underscored that they should care for troops’ living conditions, implement gratitude activities and take care of national contributors and policy households, while ensuring absolute safety during the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet).

On this occasion, on behalf of the GDP, General Nghia presented Tet gifts to the units.

* On the same day, Deputy Director of the GDP Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong visited some military units, including the Departments of Organization, Policies, Mass Mobilization, People’s Army Newspaper, National Defense Journal, Military Arts Journal, Military Social Insurance of Ministry of National Defense, Defense Trade Union Board, Military Youth Board, and Military Women Board.

In acknowledgement of the units’ great efforts in overcoming difficulties to fulfill all assigned tasks in 2020, General Phuong urged them to continue strictly maintaining combat readiness and implementing COVID-19 prevention and control, especially ahead of the 13th National Party Congress and Tet holiday 2021.

Moreover, the units were also asked to actively care for troops’ living standards during Tet holiday and inquire after and offer Tet gifts to national contributors and policy beneficiaries. In 2021, they should promote their achievements made in 2020 to fulfill all assigned tasks.

On the occasion of Tet holiday 2021 and on behalf of the GDP’s leaders, General Phuong extended Tet greetings and presented Tet gifts to the units.
