Reportedly, in April, the Party and political work in the whole military has been strictly implemented with good results.

The whole military has promptly conducted political education and strictly implemented General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s direction on preventing and combating corruption and negative phenomena. Meanwhile, dissemination work has been promoted, in line with ensuring security and safety in the whole military, as well as mobilization work.

Besides, military press agencies have also actively conducted dissemination work on military and defense tasks, external defense relations as well as protecting the national sovereignty over sea and islands. Especially, the whole military has strictly observed military discipline and regulations, and well fulfilled all assigned missions.

Concluding the conference, General Luong Cuong acknowledged and hailed military units’ achievements over the past time. Regarding tasks in May, the GDP leader requested the units to focus on enhancing political education quality and disseminating information so as to raise public awareness of hostile forces’ plots.

Regarding the Party building task, General Luong Cuong noted that the units should complete and issue construction of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission on the organization and operation of military branches at commune, ward and town levels.

Furthermore, he asked functional units to make recommendations to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission about solutions to ensure policies for troops and their rear in the current context.

Relevant units should also build plans and make preparations to organize important events this month, such as the 23rd Military Creative Youth Award, Labor Month in 2023, among others.

Meanwhile, the GDP’s organs were requested to maintain combat readiness, observe military discipline, especially during the upcoming South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) holidays; inspect fire prevention work; take measures to control and prevent COVID-19 pandemic, to name but a few.
