The VSTN land cable line, stretching around 3,900 kilometers through five countries, namely Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, connects directly from VNPT’s technical center in Da Nang to leading international data centers in the region. The full control of the entire route by VNPT ensures independent operation, quick troubleshooting and serves as a strategic backup amid frequent undersea cable incidents.

The VSTN cable employs advanced DWDM transmission equipment, with each wavelength carrying at least 300 Gps, a total designed capacity of 4 Tbps, and the potential to upgrade to 12 Tbps. This is not only a technological advancement but also a strategic step enabling Vietnam to take full control of its telecommunications infrastructure, safeguard data security and ensure uninterrupted information flow.
