The event was attended by the GDP’s Deputy Chiefs Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau, Senior Lieutenant General Do Can, and Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh.
Reportedly, in February, the Party and political work was strictly and comprehensively implemented in the whole military with good results. Especially, military units well conducted political education while disseminating information to fight wrongful viewpoints of hostile forces and protect the Party’s ideological foundation.
Meanwhile, they also well ensured personnel and mobilization work as well as were highly aware of their responsibility to perform the search and rescue mission in Turkey. In addition, military press agencies promptly carried out dissemination work on military and defense external affairs.

Concluding the event, General Luong Cuong hailed the military units for their great efforts to fulfill all assigned tasks.
Rolling out missions for March, the GDP chief requested all affiliated units to continue to effectively implement Party and political work while raising troops’ awareness so as to overcome difficulties to accomplish all assigned missions. Especially, they were asked to work together to organize activities to mark the 110th anniversary of late General Chu Huy Man’s birthday (March 17, 1913-2023).
Meanwhile, the GDP should make recommendations to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission (CMC), Ministry of National Defense (MND) to issue a plan for the implementation of Resolution 28 of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to renew the Party’s leadership over the political system in the current context.
In addition, the whole GDP was requested to implement national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas and mountainous areas for the 2021-2030 period for the military’s assigned tasks, among others.
Regarding tasks of GDP’s Organs, General Luong Cuong asked them to strictly ensure regulations and discipline observance.

During the conference, the GDP’s chief presented certificate of merit of the Defense Minister to GDP’s Deputy Chief Senior Lieutenant General Do Can for his achievements in researching and compiling the work “History of Party and political work in the Vietnam People’s Army (2000-2020).” Meanwhile, the GDP’s Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh was conferred with the Emulation Soldier title at the grassroots level in 2022 for his contribution to the cause of military building and national protection.
