GDP Director works with units in Kien Giang

Briefed on the task performance of Naval Region 5, General Luong Cuong praised the unit’s achievements over the past time, and at the same time required its leadership to focus on building firm region in terms of politics, ideology, and organizations, in line with developing comprehensive strong units.

The GDP Director asked the region to continue improving combat strength of Party organizations and capability of its troops, ensuring logistical supplies for combat readiness and regular training, and enhancing the defense external affairs.

At the working session with the Coast Guard Region 4 Command, General Luong Cuong highly appreciated the coordination between the unit and the Departments of Mass Mobilization of Kien Giang, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang provinces and the local Party committees and government while mobilizing the participation of groups and businesses in organizing the program "the Coast Guard accompanies the fishermen." General Luong Cuong noted that Coast Guard Region 4 must thoroughly grasp political tasks, overcome all difficulties and challenges to successfully complete assigned tasks.

At Brigade 950, General Luong Cuong emphasized that the unit’s Party Committee and Chain of Command should focus on directing their affiliates to grasp and properly assess situations, and promptly report to the competent authorities; giving advice to the local Party committees and authorities to successfully handle national defense and security issues, especially in crucial areas. The brigade’s leadership was asked to actively renovate and improve political and ideological education; promote the “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle” movement; strictly observe the the Party’s rules and the working and leadership regulations.

The GDP Director urged the unit to actively participate in building a strong grassroots political system, mobilizing the masses, and attaching importance to building the people's hearts posture.
