Naval Service leadership presents flowers to newly-appointed officers.

According to the Ministry of National Defense’s decisions, Senior Captain Vu Anh Tuan, Political Commissar of Naval Region 2 was appointed as head of the Department of Political Affairs of the Naval Service and Senior Captain Tran Manh Chien, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 2 as Political Commissar of the region.

In his speech, Gen. Bong congratulated Capt. Tuan and Chien on their good performance of tasks assigned by the Party, State, military and Naval Service. He highly praised the region’s achievements with important contribution of Capt. Tuan. He asked Capt. Chien to promote his capability, wisdom, lead the unit to achieve assigned political missions and build a healthy and strong Party Organization and a comprehensively-strong, exemplary and typical unit.

Other decisions were also announced at the event. Particularly, Senior Captain Do Hong Duyen, Head of the Division of Political Affairs of Naval Region 2, was promoted to Deputy Political Commissar, replacing Senior Captain Tran Hong Hai who will take on new position at the Military Political Academy under the Ministry of National Defense.

* The same day, MMU Director Lt. Gen., Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Xuan Kien chaired the duty handover ceremony of the MMU.

The MMU Directorate congratulates Sr. Col. Pham Duc Tiep on his new post as MMU Deputy Director.

At the event, Maj. Gen. Tran Minh Phong, Deputy Director of the MMU, handed over the duties and authority to Sr. Col. Pham Duc Tiep.

Col. Tiep promised to closely work with the university’s Party Committee and Directorate to continue to promote solidarity and unity in the MMU and the “Following and studying President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style” movement as well as embrace the Party’s policies and views, the military and MMU’s tasks.
