The event saw the participation of pilots, flight crew members, directors, assistants, parachute and search and rescue staff from the Staff Department of the Air Defense - Air Force Service and Naval Service; Regiments 925, 929, 930 of Division 371; Brigade 74 of the General Department II; Battalions 32 and 409 of Military Region 5 (MR5); and Battalion 31 of Military Region 4.

The parachuting practice is an annual activity of Division 372 to hone troops’ parachuting and landing skills and skills to deal with contingencies in a timely manner during training and performing other duties.

The practice session was concluded successfully, ensuring absolute safety for personnel and materiel.

According to Colonel Pham Quoc Vuong, Deputy head of Division 372, in order to ensure the success of the event, the division collaborated with the commando and special reconnaissance forces of MR4, MR5 and the General Department II to build plans to provide health check-ups and conduct training activities for participating troops.

During the event, Division 372’s agencies and units and other units strictly observed regulations on safety assurance; closely worked together to implement announcement and forecasting work; and required rescue vehicles and forces to be on stand-by at locations with dangerous obstacles.

The effective organization of parachuting training activities helped Division 372 raise troops’ combat readiness capability, skills to handle contingencies in a timely manner while enhancing the quality of search and rescue operations and maintaining political security, social order and safety to protect the Fatherland in the new situation.
