Leadership of the Air Defense-Air Force Service directing the exercise

Pilots and crews were required to fly fighters and helicopters to practice bombing and launching rockets at fixed targets in both day and night time.

The exercise aimed to evaluate the command and control capacity over flight-training sorties with weapons, flying capabilities of participating pilots and crews, and logistic services for bombing sorties.

It also gave a chance for the service's leadership to draw lessons learnt to help improve its affiliates’ flight-training quality while ensuring safety for flights, especially combat ones, in day and night time and in all weather conditions.
