At the event, Senior Colonel Ta Minh Hung, Commanding Officer of Division 367, reported that this year, the unit has implemented all training programs as planned with the participation of almost all troops. Attentively, the division has seen positive outcomes in conducting staff-command exercises, comprehensive drills, and training sessions for the recruits.

The unit has also actively performed COVID-19 prevention and control duties, sent troops and vehicles to support pandemic-hit localities, assisted locals in harvesting farm produce and localities in establishing quarantine areas. It has also presented nearly 1,200 gifts to needy people in the locality where it is stationed.

In his speech, General Cuong acknowledged and applauded the division for its achievements gained in the year.

Regarding future tasks, the deputy defense minister requested it to double-check and complete remaining training sessions, review task performance, and make thorough preparation for next year’s training programs.

The division should also strictly carry out combat readiness duties, firmly protect the sky, adjust and practice combat readiness plans in line with real situations, concentrate on training so that troops could master assigned weapons and military equipment, as well as improve troops’ living conditions while effectively controlling COVID-19 and speeding up the “Determination-to-win” emulation movement.

Earlier, General Cuong and his entourage offered incense in tribute to fallen troops of Division 367 at a monument dedicated to them, visited the division’s hall of fame, and command headquarters and barracks of several affiliates of the division.
