Cuban military delegation visits Division 367

PANO - A high-ranking delegation from the Cuban Ministry of Revolutionary Armed Forces, led by Major General Roberto Rodríguez Dopico, visited Division 367 under the Air Defence and Air Force Service, on August 21st.

At the reception, the division’s Commander Senior Colonel Bui Van Tiep highly appreciated Cuban people’s assistance to Vietnam in the national resistance war and in the national reconstruction cause, and briefed the Cuban delegates on its establishment and development.

Today, the unit’s troops master modern weapons and equipment to firmly protect the airspace, seas and islands in Southern Vietnam.

For his part, the guest thanked the division for a warm welcome and Vietnamese people’s support for Cuba’s national protection and construction cause, as well as underlined the special relations between the two nations. He believed that the division would continuously complete all assigned tasks.
