At the meeting, Senior Colonel Dao Minh Dao, Head of the Division of Corporate Finance, under the MND’s Department of Finance reported on financial monitoring and evaluation of enterprises’ performance. Representatives from participating military enterprises talked about their difficulties and efforts to achieve good results in production and operation.
Hearing the report and enterprises’ opinions, Major General Luu Sy Quy, Director of the Department of Finance, expressed sympathy with the military enterprises for their difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also thanked the Military Commercial Joint-Stock Bank (MB) for its support for military enterprises to overcome the difficulties and asked the bank to continue giving assistance to these businesses.
In his concluding speech, General Don hailed the Division of Corporate Finance for the good report and the military enterprises for their constructive opinions.
He stressed that despite difficulties, military enterprises have always stood firm and pioneered in dealing with unexpected issues, especially in disadvantaged localities to maintain their income and contribute to the State budget.
He attributed their success to their firm stance, knowledge, and glorious tradition of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, dynamism, and capability to overcome all challenges for development.
He asked military enterprises to continue to exert all-out efforts to accomplish all assigned missions, promote the virtues and brighten the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, and comply with laws while conducting production and business activities.
He tasked the Military Economic and Finance Departments to collect more opinions, review military enterprises’ difficulties, and build new policies and mechanisms in line with military enterprises’ operation.
