Viettel Hanoi has donated VND 500 million to the COVID-19 prevention and control fund of the Hanoi Chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front |
In particular, Viettel Hanoi has donated VND 500 million to Hanoi Chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) to support the municipal authority and people in COVID-19 prevention and control.
The donation is part of the VND-16-billion fund Viettel has provided for 63 provinces and cities across the country.
Earlier, Viettel contributed VND 450 billion to the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Fund.
Viettel’s personnel have raised a fund, valued at VND 19 billion, to build remote healthcare consultation centers for the health sector.
In addition, Viettel has developed a remote healthcare consultation and support (Telehealth) network that connected over 1,300 medical examination and treatment facilities nationwide.
The group has also launched a portal, various apps related to health and COVID-19 information, namely “Suc khoe Viet Nam” (Vietnamese Health), Vietnam health declaration, and others.
* On August 6, Viettel Soc Trang worked with the local authority, An Thanh Ba Border Station, and the Soc Trang provincial Border Guard to present gifts to disadvantaged people in Cu Lao Dung district.

Particularly, Viettel Soc Trang handed over 100 gift sets, worth VND 1 million each, including VND 500,000 in cash and kind, to poor households and pandemic-hit policy families in extremely needy circumstances in Cu Lao Dung district.
