During the inspection, the Air Force Officer Candidate School (Air Defense-Air Force Service), Naval Academy (Naval Service), Signal Officer Candidate School (Signal Corps), and Military Hospital 87 (General Department of Logistics) were found to have thoroughly implemented directives, guidelines, and instructions from the Ministry of National Defense and relevant Party committees and chains-of-command. They have issued directives, developed plans for combat readiness duty, and prepared for the Tet celebration in a serious and orderly manner.

Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam acknowledged and commended the achievements over the past year, as well as the efforts of the schools and units in fulfilling their combat readiness duties and preparing for the Tet. He emphasized that in the coming time, the units must focus on ensuring safety and discipline in all aspects before, during, and after the country’s traditional holiday.

They were instructed to organize guard and on-duty forces in compliance with regulations, closely work with local Party committees and authorities to thoroughly grasp the political security situation and public order in their stationed areas, and remain ready to handle any circumstances. Additionally, they were to provide timely treatment and emergency care for patients and fully implement policies for military personnel and related groups.

Furthermore, the units were urged to ensure safe food hygiene, disease prevention, and vibrant, cohesive, and healthy cultural, artistic, and sports activities during Tet.

The Deputy Defense Minister also highlighted that the schools and hospital must prioritize education, training, scientific research, enhancing medical treatment and care for the people, digital transformation, mastering new science and technology, and boldly propose solutions to any challenges. These recommendations will be addressed promptly by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to support key political missions.
