On behalf of the Cambodian delegation, Lieutenant Colonel Chet Sa Mon thanked the Vietnamese military unit for its warm reception and congratulated them on achievements over the past year, contributing to maintaining political security in Long An province in general and in Vinh Hung district in particular.

Meanwhile, he sent Tet greetings to the troops on the occasion of the Tet holiday, hoping that they would fulfill all tasks assigned by the Party, State and military. He expressed his belief that the solidarity between the two units would be further tightened.

For his part, Commanding Officer of the Vinh Hung district Military Command Colonel Vo Van Tuan thanked the Cambodian unit for their care over the past time, hoping that both units would boost solidarity and share information to ensure political security and social order along the shared borderline.

* On the same day, delegates of Laos’ Savannakhet provincial Military Command, led by Colonel Kham Phong Phat Tha Na, visited and extended Tet greetings to Division 968, Military Region 4.

An overview of the meeting

Wishing the troops good health and happiness, the Lao delegation believed that in the time ahead, Division 968 would accomplish all assigned missions, deserving the core force of Military Region 4 and Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense.

For his part, Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hung, the division’s Political Commissar, thanked the Lao delegation’s greetings and wished them good health to well perform their tasks in 2025.
