Deputy Defense Minister meets with voters in Binh Duong province
PANO – During a meeting with voters in Binh Duong province, Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong promised to direct the Binh Duong provincial armed forces and Military Region 7’s affiliated units to make contributions to local socio-economic development in line with strengthening national defense and security.
From May 10 to 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province held a meeting for candidates for the 15th National Assembly and the provincial People’s Council in the 2021-2026 term and voters in Dau Tieng district, and workers of Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, candidates expressed their pride at being chosen for the election in Dau Tieng district. Meanwhile, the voters also expressed their belief in the candidates for the 15th NA and local People’s Council in the 2021-2026 term, hoping that they would promote their roles and responsibility, and meet with voters in remote and mountainous areas.
Addressing the event, General Cuong thanked the local authorities and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for creating a chance for him to meet with voters of the district.

To deserve to be a representative of voters’ will and aspirations, the candidates will often keep close contact with the party committees and local authorities, especially with the voters while paying attention and listening to the aspiration of voters.
As a deputy defense minister, General Cuong would direct the Binh Duong provincial armed forces and Military Region 7’s affiliated units stationed in the region to closely work with local authorities and take part in local socio-economic development, ensure social order and security, and prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to promoting the beautiful image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the current context and deserving the trust of the Party, State and people.
