NA candidates meet with voters in Dau Tieng district
PANO – Candidates for the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term in Binh Duong province met with voters in Minh Hoa, Minh Tan, Minh Thanh, Dinh An, and Dinh Hiep communes of Dau Tieng district on May 10.
Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong attended and spoke at the meeting.

At the event, candidates presented their action plans for the 2021-2026 term.
After presenting his action plan, General Cuong thanked the provincial Party Committee, authorities, and chapter of Vietnam Fatherland Front for hosting the meeting. Cuong pledged that in his position, he would contribute to strengthening coordination between the provincial armed forces and military units under Military Region 7 and Defense Ministry and local leadership, agencies, and organizations in promoting socio-economic development; maintaining security and defense, political security, and public order; preventing COVID-19; conducting search and rescue; effectively carrying out policies for troops’ families in the province.
He emphasized that he will keep close contact with local leaderships and voters, and listen to and convey their aspirations to the National Assembly, the Government, and central agencies.
At the meeting, voters expressed their confidence in candidates running for the upcoming elections. They hoped that if elected, candidates will propose approaches to promoting socio-economic development in Dau Tieng district in particular and Binh Duong province in general, contributing to turning Binh Duong province into a smart and civilized urban locality and modern industrial center.

As reported, over the past time, the Party Committee, authorities, people, and armed forces of Dau Tieng district have focused on promoting socio-economic development and raising people’s living standards. So far, all communes of the district have been recognized as new-style rural areas.
