At the meeting

The "Gratitude movement" has been closely managed and implemented by the Party committees and chains-of-command across military units, mobilizing numerous resources to care for national contributors. The military has also actively proposed and executed policies for participants in the struggle for national liberation and protection and those involved in international missions.

In 2024, in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the Whole-people Defense Festive Day, the Ministry of National Defense will organize various gratitude activities, including offering flowers and incense, visiting war cemeteries, and presenting gifts to those with significant contribution to the national resistance wars. Additionally, visits will be made and gifts will be presented to wounded and sick soldiers and national contributors across the country.
